The ballet of Pina Bausch "Le sacre du Printemps" of Strawinsky has inspired me to draw and paint a series of dansers. Movement in these drawings and paintings was very important and in earth-like colours was used in most of them (see the other works) to symbolize the sacrifice to mother earth.
